Funding will be a major hurdle for this project.  Greece is suffering financial difficulties which only exacerbate the issue of dissent between locals and refugees.  The economy is struggling to support the influx of refugees, with money going towards food and shelter as priorities.

 

That being the case, funding needs to be supplied from external sources such as

• The UNHCR.

• NGO’s and charities such as Refugee Support Greece, Olivadados and Prospero World.

• International Go Fund Me initiatives.

• Sister school initiatives where students from other schools fundraise to support the project as part of their social justice programs.
